Job summary

Educate Early Learning in Erina, on the Central Coast, is seeking an experienced Childcare Director or Nominated Supervisor to lead our busy OOSH service. You will mentor Educators and deliver a trusted, play-based program.

Qualifications

• Experience as an OOSH or Childcare Leader or Nominated Supervisor.
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Working With Children Check and Child Protection Training.
• Current First Aid and CPR for Education & Care.
• Willingness to pass National Criminal History Check.
• Knowledge of MTOP and NQS is desirable.

Responsibilities

Job description

Are you an experienced Childcare Director or Nominated Supervisor ready for your next step? We're looking for a confident, community-minded leader to run our busy OOSH service at Erina on the Central Coast — with a genuine pathway to grow further within our organisation.

About the Role

Working across split shifts supporting our Before and After School programs, you'll lead a small, dedicated team delivering a fun, engaging program that local families trust. We're open to discussing flexibility in your roster where we can.

You'll be responsible for:

Leading, mentoring and developing your team of Educators, including performance support

Building a cohesive team culture that delivers a stimulating, play-based program

Keeping the service compliant with our policies, legislation and the National Quality Standards

Managing enrolments, rosters and ratios, vacation care planning and attendance

Keeping children and Educators safe and well

Building genuine relationships with children and families, and keeping communication open

About You

Previous experience as an OOSH or Childcare Leader or Nominated Supervisor

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent recognised by ACECQA)

Working With Children Check and Child Protection Training (CHCPRT025 or equivalent)

Current Education & Care First Aid and CPR

Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check

National Foundations of Child Safety Training

Solid working knowledge of My Time Our Place (MTOP), the NQS and the Assessment & Rating process (desirable, not essential)
