Job summary

Extend Group is seeking an OOSH Vacation Care Service Assistant for Jerrabomberra Public School. You will help deliver science, sports and arts activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for children, and prepare healthy snacks to keep energy high.

Role is casual with 2–3 shifts per week and up to 15 hours weekly for Vacation Care; includes PD sessions and retention payments above award. Training support and substantial childcare discounts are offered.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care (Desirable).
• Valid Working With Children Check and Child Protection Training Certificate.
• First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management (willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging activities across science, sports and arts.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment where each child is valued.
• Prepare healthy snacks to sustain energy levels.

About your service: Jerrabomberra Public School, Jerrabomberra

Hourly Rate: $36.01 - $45.71 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $1.58 - $1.97 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• Days Required: 2-3 shifts per week.
• Vacation Care: Up to 15 hours per week.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.
