Job summary

Extend Group is seeking an OOSH Vacation Care Service Assistant for Jerrabomberra Public School. You will help deliver engaging activities, coordinate sports and arts, and contribute to a fun, safe environment for children.

The role requires a warm, engaging demeanor and a can-do attitude, plus checks and training such as a WWCC and First Aid. Casual contract with shift-based work and professional development support.

Qualifications

• Warm, engaging personality and can-do attitude.
• Valid Working With Children Check and basic safety training required or in progress.
• First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma management certifications preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging activities including science experiments, sports, arts for children.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment where every child is respected.
• Prepare healthy snacks to support energy levels.
• Collaborate with families and staff to build integrated OOSH programs.

About your service: Jerrabomberra Public School, Jerrabomberra

Hourly Rate: $36.01 - $45.71 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $1.58 - $1.97 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• Days Required: 2-3 shifts per week.
• Vacation Care: Up to 15 hours per week.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

• The Qualification: You’ve got (or are studying toward) a Certificate III in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved! (Desirable, not essential).
