Job summary

EIRE Constructions is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead water delivery works on a busy civil project. You will supervise crews, coordinate subcontractors and plant, and ensure work is delivered safely, on time and to specification.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will plan daily activities, monitor progress against the programme and maintain high workmanship standards on site in the Denman region. A hands-on leader with strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years' experience in civil construction supervision or site management.
• Demonstrated experience delivering water pipelines, pressure mains or similar civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical understanding of pipeline construction methods, trenching, pipe installation and backfilling.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple crews, subcontractors, plant and resources on an active site.
• Experience managing construction programmes, site productivity and daily work planning.
• Knowledge of WHS requirements, environmental controls and quality assurance.
• Availability to work onsite in the Denman-Sandy Hollow area throughout the project (DIDO allowance available).

Responsibilities

• Site Leadership: Oversee daily construction operations and direct supervisors, crews, plant operators and subcontractors.
• Construction Delivery: Coordinate pipeline installation, earthworks, trenching and backfilling to project specs.
• Programme & Productivity: Plan daily/weekly works, monitor progress and address delays.
• Resource Management: Coordinate labour, plant, equipment, materials and subcontractors.
• Safety Leadership: Promote a strong safety culture with pre-starts, toolbox talks and site checks.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure works meet drawings, specs and inspection plans.
• Site Coordination: Manage site access, deliveries, permits and facilities.
• Problem Solving: Resolve construction challenges with Project Manager and engineering team.
• Cost Awareness: Monitor labour hours, plant use and subcontractor performance.
• Reporting: Maintain daily records and progress reports for the project.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with project personnel, subcontractors and suppliers.
