Job summary

Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort is seeking an OHS Officer to support safe day-to-day operations in an alpine environment. The role coordinates local OHS activities, conducts inspections, maintains safety registers and assists teams in applying safety controls on site.

The successful candidate will bring practical OHS experience, knowledge of Victorian requirements, strong organisational skills and a collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Practical OHS experience in an operational environment.
• Sound knowledge of Victorian OHS requirements and applying safety procedures.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage inspections and records.
• Collaborative communication across teams and contractors.
• Certificate IV in OHS or related qualification is desirable.
• Current Victorian driver licence and ability to work onsite in alpine conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support safe resort operations through onsite OHS activities, inspections and hazard identification.
• Coordinate safety actions and follow up hazards, incidents and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate OHS records and registers with up-to-date safety information.
• Work with operational teams, contractors and representatives to promote safety practices.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen onsite safety processes and controls.
