Job summary

ASI Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver reliable onsite device support for a client in Brisbane. The role covers deployment, IMAC activity, and certified Microsoft Surface repairs, with emphasis on SLA performance and precise asset management.

You will manage parts stock, maintain the asset register, and act as the onsite contact for users, while supporting broader field services for laptops, PCs, servers, and networking equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Level 1 desktop/field or end-user support role.
• Strong hardware troubleshooting and repair ability on Surface devices.
• Proficient with Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and standard corporate apps.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and asset management.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet SLA targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.
• Microsoft Surface Service Provider certification or willingness to obtain during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and hand over end-user devices including data migration.
• Perform IMAC activities for individuals and relocations.
• Diagnose and repair hardware/software faults onsite or at deskside.
• Carry out Microsoft Surface repairs using approved parts and tools.
• Manage onsite parts stock, receipts, storage, and returns.
• Maintain accurate asset register and close tickets within SLA.
• Escalate complex faults with detailed diagnostics.
• Support broader field services for laptops, PCs, servers, and networking equipment per ASI procedures.
