Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, commission, monitor, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, seals and related equipment across industries. You will provide on-site technical support, assess problems, and recommend repairs or upgrades while traveling to customer facilities as needed.

The role requires hands-on installation and repair experience, the ability to read blueprints, and strong communication skills to train customers and coordinate with Flowserve teams.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Make direct, in-person service calls in response to customer requests.
• Assess mechanical problems and take actions to resolve promptly.
• Lead work crews as required and work with customer personnel.
• Oversee repair cycle: disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and assembly.
• Ensure equipment is installed on schedule and starts up properly.
• Train customers in operating and maintaining Flowserve products.
• Maintain accurate records of daily reports, jobs quoted and time/materials charged.
