Newmont Australia is seeking an Environmental Advisor - Compliance at Cadia, NSW. This onsite role coordinates regulatory and internal reporting, supports environmental approvals, and drives continuous improvement across operations near Orange.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science/Engineering and hands-on experience with environmental management systems, reporting, and compliance in mining or heavy industry. Residential Cadia site; 5/2 or 9 days per fortnight arrangement.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• Experience in environmental compliance management, regulatory reporting, and environmental management, preferably in mining/ heavy industry.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining environmental management systems, risk registers and compliance tracking.
• Strong written communication skills for technical reports and interpreting environmental legislation.
• Knowledge of NSW mining/environmental regulations and approvals is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate environmental compliance obligations across the Cadia operation.
• Prepare, review and maintain statutory and internal reports and compliance documentation.
• Review and update environmental management plans and related documents.
• Monitor environmental performance and drive timely close-out of incidents and audits.
• Support operational teams with compliance guidance and continuous improvement.
• Maintain risk registers and environmental management systems.
