Job summary

Newmont Cadia is seeking a Finance Advisor on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide financial business partnering support across the Cadia operation. You will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, month-end processes, cost and capital analysis, governance and reporting from a busy mining site in central New South Wales.

You will partner with site teams to deliver insights, manage costs, and support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related discipline.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, month-end close and financial analysis.
• Experience supporting capital management within mining or a similar complex industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office, with experience using ERP systems.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder collaboration skills, with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly and monthly forecasts for site functional departments.
• Assist with month-end processes and analyse monthly operating costs and capital expenditure.
• Provide insights and recommendations on cost performance and variances against plan.
• Support compliance with Cadia and Newmont governance requirements.
• Deliver regular reporting and respond to ad hoc financial analysis requests.
