Job summary

Saipem is seeking a Construction Subcontract Engineer to support the Construction Manager with site subcontract administration, cost control, variations, and claims on major EPC or energy projects in Australia. The role requires a relevant technical degree and professional English proficiency.

You will coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and Project Controls, with IT skills in Excel and familiarity with Primavera P6, SAP or PRISM as advantageous.

Qualifications

• Education: Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Contracts, Business or a related discipline.
• Experience: Relevant experience in construction subcontract administration, contract management or cost control within major construction, EPC or energy projects.
• Languages: Professional English language skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Construction Manager with site subcontract administration, cost control, variations, claims and coordination with subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Project Controls and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate cost reporting.
• Monitor variations and claims and maintain contractual correspondence throughout the project lifecycle.
