Job summary

Bundaberg Regional Council, Bundaberg Region, is seeking a Customer Service Officer for a temporary full-time (7 months) role. You will be a key contact for residents, businesses and visitors, handling inquiries and transactions across front counter, phone and digital channels.

About the Opportunity

Every interaction matters. As a Customer Service Officer, you'll be one of the first points of contact for our community, helping residents, businesses and visitors access Council services with confidence. This role combines customer service, administration and financial transaction processing to ensure enquiries are resolved efficiently and professionally.

Working across our front counter, call centre and digital channels, you'll contribute to positive customer experiences while supporting the delivery of essential local government services. Your ability to build relationships, solve problems and provide accurate information will help strengthen our connection with the community.

• Experience providing high-quality customer service and administration support in a busy customer facing environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of customers and stakeholders.
• The ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure and maintain accuracy in a fast paced environment.
• A positive, professional and collaborative approach, with the flexibility to support a variety of administration and service delivery functions.
