Job summary

Blue Mountains City Council is recruiting a Project Officer for the OneCouncil ERP deployment, based in Katoomba with occasional site visits to other Council locations. The role focuses on supporting TechnologyOne ERP rollout, including configuration, testing and business readiness activities, and requires strong communication with SMEs to validate requirements and outcomes.

The position is temporary, full-time until 30 June 2028, with a base salary starting at $100,301 gross per annum plus 12%

• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to facilitate workshops and produce fit-for-purpose analysis artefacts.
• Stakeholder relationship skills, ability to work with SMEs to validate requirements and outcomes.

Council is undertaking an exciting programme of works to implement TechnologyOne software and requires an engaging and technology savvy project officer to be part of the existing team. The ideal candidate would have used TechnologyOne or other major ERP software's previously. Candidates should be able to demonstrate they are system savvy for large enterprise-wide rollouts previously. The position is based on Katoomba and will be required to attend other Council sites on an intermittent basis.

You will have:

• Experience supporting business systems or ERP implementation, including assisting with configuration support, testing and business readiness activities.


• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally, including facilitating workshops and producing fit-for-purpose analysis artefacts.


• Stakeholder relationship skills, including the ability to work with SMEs to validate requirements and outcomes and to build consensus.

This is a temporary, full-time position until 30 June 2028.

Remuneration: base salary commencing at $100,301 gross per annum

• + 12% superannuation


• + annual performance-based salary increases / bonus (1-3.5%)
