OneSchool Global is seeking a Campus Student Support Assistant for our Wagga Wagga campus on a part-time basis (0.2 FTE, 1 day per week), permanent. You will provide dedicated one-to-one support for a student with complex needs, including autism, and work with the Learning Support Teacher to implement structured strategies.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Education Support (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience supporting students with complex needs incl. Autism.
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required.

Responsabilités

• Provide dedicated one-to-one support for a student with complex learning, communication barriers and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with Learning Support Teacher and campus team to implement structured strategies.
• Assist student to engage in classroom activities and routines, supporting participation in learning and transitions.
• Implement individualized learning and behaviour support strategies for students with complex needs.
• Provide personal care support where required, ensuring dignity, safety and wellbeing.
• Support communication systems (AAC, visual schedules) to aid language and expression.
• Reinforce self-regulation strategies and maintain a calm learning environment.
