Job summary

OneSchool Global is seeking a Campus Student Support Assistant at the Wagga Wagga campus for Term 1 2027. This part-time (0.2 / 1 day pw), permanent role focuses on providing one-to-one support to a student with complex learning needs.

You will work with the Learning Support Teacher to implement structured strategies, support engagement and participation, and maintain dignity and confidentiality at all times. WWCC is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Certificate IV in Education Support or equivalent.
• Experience supporting students with complex needs including Autism.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated one-to-one support for a student with complex learning, communication barriers and behavioural needs.
• Collaborate with Learning Support Teacher and campus team to implement structured strategies.
• Assist the student to engage in classroom activities and routines, supporting participation in learning and transitions.
• Implement individualised learning and behaviour strategies for students with complex needs.
• Provide personal care support where required, ensuring dignity and wellbeing.
