Job summary

St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba – Melbourne VIC is seeking a Data Entry Officer / Study Coordinator to join the Oncology Clinical Trials Unit. You will support the delivery of nationally and internationally sponsored trials, focusing on accurate data entry and management within EDC systems.

This part-time role (8 hours per week) runs until 31 December 2027 and offers exposure to a busy clinical research environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or completed a health-related qualification.
• Experience in Oncology/Haematology trials data entry or coordination.
• Familiarity with EDC systems such as REDCap, Medidata Rave or OpenClinica.
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality data.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• Current National Criminal History Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain clinical trial data in EDC systems.
• Support study coordinators with data tracking across studies.
• Maintain complete, accurate trial records and docs.
• Monitor outstanding data and resolve queries.
• Collaborate with the Oncology Trials team to support trial delivery.
• Ensure data management complies with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
