Job summary

Firefly HR is partnering with a family‑run early learning service in Macquarie Park to recruit a Centre Director. You will lead a committed team, uphold high standards and nurture strong relationships with children, families and educators.

Expect off‑the‑floor leadership, an experienced team to build on, and a values‑led provider where decisions are made through conversation. A competitive package is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Centre Director or strong Assistant Director seeking progression.
• Strong understanding of the NQF, NQS and regulatory compliance.
• Experience mentoring educators and building positive team cultures.

Responsibilities

• Build trust with educators, children and families through consistency and presence.
• Mentor your team, strengthen practice and give meaningful feedback.
• Keep quality high and ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
• Lead change with your team and balance people with operations: rostering, timesheets, family communication and notifications.
• Work closely with your Assistant Director and build shared ownership.
