Job summary

Ror Foundation Works Pty Ltd is seeking a Steel Fixer to join our Adelaide-area site team. The role requires interpreting drawings, cutting and bending reinforcing steel, and installing reinforcement within formwork for concrete structures.

You will work with concrete crews and rigging personnel to ensure alignment, spacing and support. Prior experience and a relevant construction qualification are essential for site safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• Able to interpret construction drawings and reinforcement schedules.
• Experience handling reinforcing steel, welded mesh, and reinforcement materials.
• Strong safety awareness and compliance with site procedures.
• Good coordination and teamwork with construction crews.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings to determine placement and configuration of reinforcing steel.
• Measure, cut and bend bars and welded mesh to required specs using hand and power tools.
• Assemble reinforcement cages for beams, columns, slabs and footings.
• Install reinforcement within formwork prior to concrete placement and ensure correct alignment.
