Job summary

ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture in Australia is seeking a dedicated Safety Advisor to support the Central-West Orana project. You will promote a strong safety culture, assess risks on site, and lead incident response while embedding HSE best practices across the team.

Requires 4+ years as an HSE Practitioner on large-scale construction, WHS qualifications (Diploma or higher), and strong communication. The role offers a bus-in/bus-out roster with camp-style accommodation in the Central West Orana

Qualifications

4+ years' experience as an HSE Practitioner on large-scale construction projects.
Diploma or higher WHS qualifications preferred.
Strong communication and risk-based approach to safety.

Responsibilities

Embed a strong safety culture across the project and lead safety improvements.
Review safety systems, processes and products and propose practical enhancements.
Track safety metrics to support continuous improvement.
Coordinate incident reporting and investigations from start to finish.
Lead by example to set the standard for safety on site.
Manage document control, recording, monitoring and routine communications.
