Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team for an exciting defence-related project in Newcastle. You will deliver on-site technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and set up IT equipment while working with clients in a dynamic environment.

Ideal candidates will have Australian citizenship with NV1 AGSVA clearance, a positive attitude, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a valid driver’s license for occasional travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Must have Australian citizenship and NV1 AGSVA clearance.
• Positive, energetic attitude and eager to learn.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Technical aptitude and adaptability to various environments.
• Valid driver’s license (travel to client sites may be required).

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Set up and configure IT equipment including computers, printers, and network devices.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain clear communication with clients.
• Participate in training to build technical and customer service skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and solutions
