Job summary

ACLE Services is seeking an on-site HSE Advisor to join our growing construction delivery team across regional Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia. You will work hands-on with operational teams to manage risk, support safe work practices and drive a strong safety culture on solar and BESS projects.

You will lead site inspections, investigations, and risk assessments, while coordinating training, SWMS/JSEA updates and environmental controls to ensure regulatory compliance and project

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety.
• 3+ years in an HSE Advisor role, preferably in renewable energy or construction.
• Driver's License.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and risk management principles.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a positive safety culture across construction operations.
• Lead site inspections to ensure safety standards and regulations are met.
• Conduct workplace investigations and close-out corrective actions.
• Lead health and safety initiatives in line with client manuals and company policies.
• Review and update SWMS and JSEA to ensure effective risk management on-site.
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety measures to prevent incidents.
• Deliver HSE training, inductions, toolbox talks and safety communications.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE policies and SOPs.
• Oversee site inductions for employees and contractors, ensuring compliance.
• Oversee safety audits, incident investigations, RTW and workers' compensation claims.
• Provide regular reports to site management and assist with audits and compliance reviews.
• Monitor environmental controls and waste management.
