Job summary
Siemens Energy, Inc. seeks a Field Service Technician to provide on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair for our Dubbo, NSW client sites. The role is site-based, with relocation possible for candidates in the Dubbo area.
Key tasks include system operations, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in field service, Australian electrical license, and experience with Siemens/Siemens Energy
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in field service or a related technical role.
- Australian Electrical license is required.
- Experience with switching equipment and HV/LV distribution is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day system operations following the client’s processes.
- Switch LV/MV/HV equipment and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with equipment and systems.
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Install and commission new equipment and systems per specifications.
- Maintain accurate service reports and records of maintenance activities.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather feedback.
