Job summary

Performance Drivers Pty is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety across major Canberra construction projects, ensuring WHS compliance and continuous improvement of EHS systems on-site. Qualifications

• 5+ years in EH&S management or advisory role.
• Experience in project-based, field services or construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and standards.
• Experience developing and auditing EH&S management systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide EH&S leadership across multiple project sites
• Conduct safety walks, toolbox talks, audits
• Develop and approve SWMS, risk assessments, Take 5s, safety plans
• Identify and control EH&S hazards
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations
• Track corrective actions to completion
• Deliver site inductions and EH&S training
• Coach managers to strengthen safety leadership
• Facilitate EHS committee meetings and reporting
