Bouygues Construction Australia is seeking a Logistics Manager to plan and coordinate the movement, delivery, storage, and handling of materials and equipment on our civil infrastructure projects in Australia.

Working closely with Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, you will develop logistics arrangements that support the construction programme while keeping the site safe and organized.

Formación

• Relevant qualification or training in construction, logistics, supply chain, transport, or site management.
• Experience in a logistics or materials-coordination role on a construction project.
• Knowledge of construction-site operations, delivery planning, traffic management, and material handling.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and regularly update the project logistics plan, covering site access, traffic routes, delivery schedules, storage areas, and welfare facilities.
• Coordinate deliveries of materials, plant, and equipment with suppliers and site teams to ensure they arrive when needed and can be safely received.
• Manage vehicle access, traffic movements, loading and unloading areas, and the separation of pedestrians and vehicles.
• Coordinate the use of cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment with construction teams.
• Work with subcontractors to confirm their logistics requirements and ensure they follow site access, delivery, and storage procedures.
• Monitor storage conditions, material protection, waste removal, and housekeeping to keep the site safe and organized.
• Identify potential logistics constraints or delays and agree practical solutions with the project team.
• Ensure logistics activities follow site rules, health and safety requirements, and relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery and logistics records, and report issues or trends that may affect programme or site operations.
• Review and adjust logistics arrangements as the project progresses and site conditions change.
