Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Building Science, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience managing construction activities on projects.
• Proven experience coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, project controls, and site safety requirements.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate and coordinate diverse teams.
• Excellent planning, organisation, and decision-making skills.
• Clear communication and effective collaboration with project stakeholders.
• Practical understanding of construction methods and site operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and coordinate daily construction activities in line with the project programme and construction sequence.
• Lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and specialist contractors.
• Monitor progress, productivity, and resource needs; report risks, delays, and issues to project leadership.
• Ensure construction work follows approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality requirements.
• Promote compliance with health and safety plans, site rules, and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and quality checks; ensure defects and non-conformances are addressed.
• Review upcoming work with planners and subcontractors, including access, materials, equipment, and workforce requirements.
• Resolve site issues and coordinate design clarifications, technical queries, and changes with relevant teams.
• Maintain site records, progress information, and reports.
• Support commissioning, completion, snagging, and handover activities.
