Red Vend Pty Ltd in Newman, WA, seeks an experienced Mobile Diesel Mechanic to service and repair a fleet of trucks and heavy vehicles. You will perform on-road breakdowns, preventive maintenance and safety inspections, working independently with a company vehicle and tools provided.

The role offers full-time hours in a mining-support setting, with travel as required and a focus on reliability, safety and efficient fleet operation.

Formación

• Demonstrated experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably with heavy vehicles.
• Trade qualifications in mechanical work.
• Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage on-road repairs.
• Current driver's licence; heavy vehicle licence is highly regarded.
• Good communication, time-management and organisational skills.
• Reliable, flexible and safety-focused approach.
• Willingness to travel and respond to breakdowns.

Responsabilidades

• Perform on-road breakdown repairs and emergency mechanical assistance.
• Service, repair and maintain trucks, trailers and heavy diesel vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, engine and vehicle faults.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, routine servicing and safety inspections.
• Identify mechanical issues and minimise vehicle downtime.
• Ensure vehicles are safe, roadworthy and operational.
• Maintain maintenance records and service documentation.
• Comply with WHS and road transport regulations.
• Travel as required to provide mobile support.
