BHP is seeking a Heavy Road Transport Mechanic based in Newman, Western Australia, on an even-time roster. You will service a fleet of trucks (Scania/Fuso), lighting plants, and other equipment within the Auxiliary department to ensure operational efficiency.

Ideally, you hold an Australian recognised Heavy Road Transport Mechanical Qualification with relevant licenses and have extensive diagnostic and repair experience.

Competenze

• Australian recognised Heavy Road Transport Mechanical Qualification is required.
• High Risk License (Working at Heights, HR, CV, Dogging, Rigging, Forklift, Air Con Ticket) is desirable.
• Extensive experience diagnosing, maintaining and repairing a broad range of machinery/equipment.
• Willingness to learn and strong communication skills.

Mansioni

• Provide diagnostics, repairs and maintenance to Trucks, Lighting Plants, EWP, Forklifts and other equipment within the Auxiliary department.
• Ensure accurate technical documentation and reporting.
• Use SAP for maintenance work orders, time confirmations and notifications.
• Assist with rescheduling work, coordinating resources and setting priorities.
