Suncorp Group is seeking Expressions of Interest for an On-Road Assessor in Perth, WA. This permanent full-time role involves on-site and virtual assessments of property damage, advising on scope, liability and quantum, and collaborating with claims managers, repairers, and suppliers to deliver timely, customer-focused outcomes.

The ideal candidate balances technical building knowledge with strong communication, empathy, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Trade or building qualifications required.
• Unrestricted Full Driver’s Licence required.
• Certificate IV in General Insurance or equivalent preferred.
• Diploma Loss Adjusting preferred.
• Qualified trade within building industry preferred.
• Previous Assessing / Supervision / Construction experience desirable.

Responsabilités

• Conduct on-site, virtual, desktop property assessments with customers or panel repairers.
• Determine, review, accept, or decline scopes of work for repairs.
• Communicate clear, timely, and accurate advice on claim decisions, timeframes and progress.
• Support Claims Managers in resolving complex customer issues and identify vulnerable customers.
• Accurately assess property loss or damage and document decisions and outcomes in reports.
• Drive cost-focused outcomes and ensure repair quality and continuous improvement.
• Proactively identify risks, manage fraud concerns, and ensure compliance with policies and legislation.
• Provide feedback on repairer performance and suggest process improvements.
