Job summary

Cordina Foods in New South Wales is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter for the Wyong Plant on the afternoon shift. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to mechanical breakdowns, and implement preventative maintenance programs to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires a trade-qualified maintenance fitter with FMCG experience and strong troubleshooting skills. A restricted electrical licence is highly regarded but not essential, and you must be self-motivated,

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified maintenance fitter required.
• Experience in an FMCG environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and manage breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Design and implement preventative maintenance programs.
• Assist development of KPIs and manage maintenance team operations.
• Regular inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to meet targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food manufacturing standards.
• Manage contract workers as required
