Job summary

Leading FMCG Business with great reputation & culture in Fairfield East NSW seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain safety, reliability and efficiency of plant and equipment in a highly automated food facility. You will perform planned and breakdown maintenance and fault-finding across production lines.

The role requires a trade-qualified Electrician or Mechanical Fitter with FMCG/food experience and a proactive, team-oriented approach to improve uptime and safety.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Electrician or Mechanical Fitter.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or food production.
• Strong fault-finding skills in mechanical or electrical systems.
• Commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and/or electrical faults.
• Troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment.
• Carry out equipment servicing, repairs and adjustments.
• Respond to breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
• Assist with continuous improvement and maintenance projects.
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
• Work closely with production and other maintenance team members.
