Fire & Rescue NSW is seeking On-Call Firefighters based at Mount Victoria. You will respond to fires and other emergencies, undertake community safety work, and participate in training and drills as part of FRNSW.

Applicants must live within a reasonable distance of a FRNSW fire station, hold a NSW P1+ driver's licence, be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, and have availability across weekdays and/or weekends, including day or night shifts. Training is provided.

Formación

• Valid NSW Driver's Licence (minimum P1)
• Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
• Live within a reasonable distance of the FRNSW Fire Station
• Training is provided on an ongoing basis and covers all aspects of firefighting and rescue

Responsabilidades

• Attend fires and other emergencies such as motor vehicle accidents or chemical hazards.
• Engage in community education on fire prevention and safety for school children, senior citizens and local businesses.
• Collaborate with other emergency services such as NSW Ambulance, NSW Rural Fire Service and NSW Police.
• Provide services at incidents, training sessions, community safety and education activities.
