Job summary

Fire & Rescue NSW is seeking an On-Call Firefighter (RN2) based at a local FRNSW fire station. You will respond to fires and emergencies, perform community safety work, and engage in education programs.

The role requires availability across weekdays or weekends, including day or night work. You must live or work within a reasonable distance of the FRNSW Fire Station. Training is provided and you will contribute to protecting communities.

Qualifications

• Live and/or work within a reasonable distance of the FRNSW Fire Station.

Responsibilities

• Attend fires and other emergencies such as motor vehicle accidents or chemical hazards.
• Undertake community fire safety work and education activities.
• Collaborate with other emergency services like NSW Ambulance, NSW Rural Fire Service and NSW Police.
