Job summary

Fire and Rescue NSW is seeking On-Call Firefighters to operate from local Fire Stations and respond to fires and other emergencies, including motor vehicle accidents and chemical hazards. You will also engage in community fire safety education for schools, seniors and local businesses, working alongside NSW Ambulance, Rural Fire Service and Police.

Qualifications

• Must be able to respond promptly to emergency incidents.
• Live and/or work within a reasonable distance of the FRNSW Fire Station.
• Australian or NZ citizen or permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Attend fires and other emergencies such as motor vehicle accidents or chemical hazards.
• Undertake community fire safety work and education.
• Collaborate with NSW Ambulance, Rural Fire Service and Police.
