Job summary

Serco is offering a full-time medical receptionist role at Enoggera Health Centre, Brisbane. You will provide clerical and administrative support to a multidisciplinary health team, while maintaining health records and coordinating patient appointments.

The position focuses on non-clinical duties within a Defence-backed healthcare environment, with a clear schedule of day shifts and an emphasis on privacy and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a full-time (or equivalent) administrative role; medical setting preferred.
• Completion of a medical terminology course from an RTO, or willingness to complete.
• Strong communication and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient with electronic health record systems and standard clinic software.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and administrative support to health staff and patients.
• Manage electronic and hard-copy health records in line with privacy standards.
• Coordinate appointments and liaise with internal and external health service providers.
• Prepare reports, data entry and assist with supply requests.
