Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Training Systems & Technical Officer to support training, competency and site access across Ernest Henry Operations. You’ll modernise training systems, develop digital learning solutions and ensure accurate training data and access requirements are maintained.

This role offers residential or DIDO arrangements and a 5/2/4/3 roster to support a healthy work-life balance and active community participation.

Qualifications

• Experience administering training and competency systems.
• Experience with digital learning platforms and online assessments.
• Knowledge of training, competency and safety management systems in mining or industrial contexts.

Responsibilities

What’sthe opportunity?

As our Training Systems & Technical Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting training, competency and site access processes across Ernest Henry Operations. Working within the Sustainability team, you’ll help modernise training systems, improve digital learning solutions and ensure training data and site access requirements are accurately maintained.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys systems, process improvement and stakeholder engagement, and wants to make a meaningful impact on workforce capability and compliance.

This role is offered on a residential or DIDO basis, working a family-friendly 5/2/4/3 roster that supports a healthy work-life balance while allowing you to be an active part of the local community.

In this role you’ll:

• Support the administration, maintenance and continuous improvement of training and competency systems across site
• Develop and enhance digital training solutions, online assessments and eLearning resources through platforms such as Moodle and INX Assessor
• Manage and support site access processes for employees, contractors and visitors through key site systems
• Maintain accurate training records, competency data and compliance documentation
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve systems, streamline processes and enhance the user experience.

Does this sound like you?

You’re an organised and systems-focused professional who enjoys improving processes, working with digital platforms and supporting stakeholders across the business. You have strong attention to detail, enjoy solving problems and can confidently manage multiple priorities. Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a current Manual Driver’s Licence
• Strong experience using INX and the Microsoft Office suite
• An understanding of training, competency and safety management systems within a mining or industrial environment
• Strong planning, coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience developing digital learning content, online assessments or workflow improvements using systems such as Moodle, Articulate 360, Adobe or INX Assessor will be highly regarded.
