Job summary

Sunshine Coast Health seeks an Occupational Therapist - Senior to deliver high level clinical practice on a fixed-term basis. The role includes leadership oversight, supervising junior practitioners and students, and providing clinical guidance within a multidisciplinary team to achieve a patient-centred care vision.

The position offers a remuneration value up to $157,359 p.a. (salary between $4,912.70 - $5,286.40 p.f.) with superannuation and annual leave loading.

Qualifications

• Deliver independent high level Occupational Therapy clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.
• Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
• Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
• Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced Occupational Therapy practitioners and students as delegated.
• Communicate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to influence the culture towards a common, patient-centred vision and direction.

Responsibilities
