Job summary

Gold Coast Health is seeking an Assistant Director - Occupational Therapy (Acute Services) to lead and deliver high-quality OT care in the acute setting. The role focuses on independent clinical service delivery and professional leadership within a large team on the Gold Coast.

You will drive governance processes, supervise senior OT staff, and lead initiatives to enhance OT services across acute care, contributing to patient outcomes and team development.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Evidence of vaccination against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B; TB screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent clinical services of a highly complex and varied nature.
• Contribute to day-to-day caseload management and professional leadership tasks.
• Lead initiatives to be implemented for Occupational Therapy Services.
