Job summary

Concentric in Bella Vista, NSW is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our allied health team. Full-time or part-time roles available, with a focus on NDIS and community-based care.

You will conduct assessments, develop individualised plans, deliver therapy, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary colleagues. APHRA registration and an OT degree are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
  • Current APHRA registration
  • Valid Australian driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals in the NDIS and Community sectors to identify functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
  • Develop individualised treatment plans and intervention strategies to maximise independence, functional capacity, and quality of life.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate with clients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to develop person-centered care plans and ensure holistic support.
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to enhance daily living skills, cognitive abilities, mobility, and self-care.
  • Provide education and support to clients, caregivers, and support workers to enhance understanding of occupational therapy interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
  • Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and regulatory changes within the NDIS and Community sectors.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
