Job summary

Sarah Cobbett Occupational Therapy is a specialist community OT practice servicing older Australians across South East Queensland, including the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Toowoomba.

The role focuses on Assistive Technology, home modifications, and functional assessments, with a manageable caseload, flexible hours, and a supportive team. You will work with clients and families to achieve practical outcomes at home.

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience working with older adults in community settings is preferred.
• Ability to write high-quality clinical reports and liaise with care managers and funding bodies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home assessments across the community.
• Perform assistive technology assessments and recommend equipment.
• Coordinate home modification assessments and collaborate with builders and suppliers.
• Prepare home modification and assistive technology reports for funding streams.
• Engage with clients, families and care teams to achieve practical outcomes.
