Occupational Therapist | Community & NDIS

SustainHealth are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a growing multidisciplinary allied health team supporting people living with disability.

This is a great opportunity for an OT looking for a varied caseload, strong clinical support and the flexibility to develop their skills in areas that genuinely interest them.

You’ll work alongside experienced allied health clinicians in a supportive environment, with access to clinical supervision, professional development and the resources you need to provide quality, client-centred care.

The Role

• Manage a varied community-based NDIS caseload
• Complete assessments and develop individualised, client-centred intervention strategies
• Work across areas of clinical interest, with support to continue developing your skills
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including other allied health professionals and therapy support staff
• Complete clinical documentation and reports
• Provide recommendations around equipment, assistive technology and home modifications where appropriate
• Work autonomously while having access to ongoing clinical support and supervision

About You

To be successful, you’ll have:

• A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Current AHPRA registration
• Experience or a genuine interest in working with people with disability
• Strong communication, organisation and time management skills
• The ability to work autonomously and manage a varied caseload
• Strong report writing and documentation skills
• A client-centred approach to assessment and intervention
• A valid driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
