Lutheran Homes Group in Adelaide invites an Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health team. You will assess clients on admission, plan tailored interventions, and collaborate with Residential, Community and Rehabilitation staff to support independence and well‑being.

Education and coaching of direct care staff, home safety assessments, and recommending assistive technology are key parts of the role. AHPRA registration and a current Australian driver’s licence are essential.

Qualifications

• OT qualification and registration (AHPRA) required.
• Ability to educate, support and coach direct care staff and families.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to drive.
• Pre-employment medical and NDIS Worker Clearance may be required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments on admission and as required to tailor therapy plans.
• Perform home safety assessments and recommend home modifications.
• Prescribe assistive technology and equipment to enable independent living at home.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy and support wellness in community care environments.
• Collaborate with clients, families and health professionals to address therapy needs and outcomes.
