Job summary

Ageing Australia is seeking an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA registration to join a growing allied health team in the Wollongong/Illawarra region. The role offers a flexible, patient-centred caseload across paediatrics, adults and aged care, with a hybrid mix of clinic and community work and admin support.

You’ll tailor your caseload to your interests, enjoy a supportive owner and leadership team, and work in a space with paediatric rooms and a company car for community work.

Qualifications

• OT with AHPRA registration and current practising status.
• 2–3+ years of experience in mixed caseloads is preferred.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in the community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mixed community-based and clinic sessions across Wollongong/Illawarra.
• Tailor caseload to paediatrics, adolescents, adults and aged care.
• Provide home assessments, home modifications and AT recommendations.
• Collaborate with OTs and nurses, and maintain client records.
• Participate in admin support and coordination as needed.

• Team culture at the forefront of the company ethos, This is a great opportunity for an Occupational Therapist who enjoys paediatrics, adults or aged care, hybrid of clinic and community, You will support a developing caseload across the Wollongong and Illawarra region, with referrals already coming through.

The role will be a mix of community-based work, client homes, office-based sessions and clinical intervention where required.

There is flexibility to tailor the caseload around your interests, including paediatrics, adolescents, adults, aged care, home modifications, AT tech and community-based therapy.

About the Candidate

• Occupational Therapist with AHPRA registration
• Ideally 2-3+ years of experience
• Experience within mixed caseloads is highly desired
• Comfortable working independently in the community
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Current driver's licence

This role would suit an OT who wants flexibility, support and the chance to be part of a growing allied health team without heavy KPI pressure.

• $80,000 - $120,000 + super, depending on experience
• Part-time role (3 days) with opportunity to increase to full-time
• Non-rigid KPI expectations, with report writing included
• Admin support for bookings, invoicing and client coordination
