Job summary

Mediix Randwick, NSW, is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to join their private practice in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.

You'll manage a predominantly paediatric caseload with potential for some adults, collaborate with an in-house Speech Pathology team, and work primarily clinic-based with options for community, school, and telehealth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• General AHPRA registration (Occupational Therapy Board of Australia)
• Mandarin proficiency desirable
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
• Full Australian working rights (visa sponsorship may be considered)

Responsibilities

• Predominantly paediatric caseload with potential to see adult clients depending on interest and experience.
• Toddlers, preschool, school-age and teens with presentations including autism, developmental delay, sensory processing, fine/gross motor delays, handwriting and school-readiness, and functional independence.
• Assessment, therapy delivery, functional capacity assessments and family/school liaison.
• Close collaboration with an in-house Speech Pathology team.
• Mix of NDIS (50%), private and Medicare clients.
• Primarily clinic-based one-on-one sessions with scope for community, school and telehealth work as needed

A well-established, highly regarded private allied health practice in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs is expanding its multidisciplinary team and seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to join them. Your caseload

What you'll need

• A minimum of 4 years of clinical experience working as an Occupational Therapist
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Working with Children Check
