Dundaloo Allied Health seeks an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our paediatric team on the Mid North Coast, NSW. You will assess, plan and deliver therapy for children aged 0–12 years across clinics, homes, schools and community settings.

Consultation with families, evidence-based practice, and a commitment to development and safety underpin the role; flexible full- or part-time options and a competitive salary package are offered.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Experience working with children with developmental delay and/or disability.
• Passion for neuro-affirming, strengths-based and family-centred practice.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Current NSW Driver Licence.
• Current Working With Children Check (willingness to complete).
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (willingness to complete).
• Experience with NDIS/Community Health paediatric settings is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide paediatric occupational therapy assessments and therapy services for children aged 0–12.
• Develop individualised therapy programs across clinic, home and school settings.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with families, carers and support networks.
• Supervise students and junior clinicians, ensuring professional standards.
• Engage in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development.

Dundaloo Allied Health provides high-quality Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and Psychology services to children, families and the wider community throughout the Mid North Coast under a range of funding arrangements including NDIS, Medicare and DVA.

The Opportunity

About the Role

Working primarily with children aged0–12 years, you'll provide assessment, intervention and therapy services that support developmental, sensory, motor, self-care, play and social participation goals.

You'll work across a variety of settings including:

• Our modern Allied Health clinic
• Homes
• Schools and early education settings
• Community environments

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Deliver comprehensive paediatric occupational therapy assessments
• Develop individualised therapy programs
• Facilitate individual and group therapy
• Build capacity within families, carers and support networks
• Supervise students, early career clinicians, and allied health assistants ensuring the maintenance and adherence of professional, clinical, ethical and safety standards.

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary Allied Health team

Participate in clinical supervision, peer review and professional development

Contribute to innovative, evidence-based practice

• A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Current AHPRA registration
• Experience working with children with developmental delay and/or disability
• A passion for neuro-affirming, strengths-based and family-centred practice
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Current NSW Driver Licence
• Current Working With Children Check (willingness to complete)
