Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia) is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full time or part time itinerant role across The Gables and Hills Shire region. You will deliver therapy in community settings, working with families and support networks to promote independence and meaningful participation.

Applicants must be fully registered with AHPRA, hold a valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle, and be willing to travel.

Qualifications

  • Registered occupational therapist with AHPRA.
  • Current driver's license and access to own vehicle for travel.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check in place.
  • Working with Children Check for paid employment is required for the state of residence.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate preferred.
  • Willingness to travel across The Hills Region and Blacktown LGAs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver therapy supports to participants in community settings (3–4 per day).
  • Develop practical, goal-focused intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with families, carers, and support networks to empower independence.
  • Build strengths-based, functional, meaningful strategies.
  • Support participants in developing daily living skills.
  • Work autonomously in the community and as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.

At Aspect Therapy, we're dedicated to empowering individuals on the autism spectrum and their families to achieve meaningful outcomes through evidence-informed, person-centred therapy. We work alongside participants, families and support networks to build practical skills that promote independence, participation and quality of life.

We're seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our team on a full time or part time basis, supporting participants across The Gables and the Hills Shire region. This is an itinerant role, meaning you'll work within the community and across a variety of settings to deliver therapy where it has the greatest impact.

What your day will look like:

You will:

  • Deliver therapy supports to 3 - 4 participants per day in community settings
  • Develop practical, goal-focused intervention plans
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, and support networks
  • Build strategies that are strengths-based, functional, and meaningful
  • Support participants to develop independence and everyday life skills
  • Work both autonomously in the community and as part of a highly supportive team
Qualifications

What you bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy
  • Fully registered with AHPRA
  • Current driver’s licence, use of own vehicle for business purposes (reimbursed per km) and willingness to travel across The Hills Region and Blacktown LGA's.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
  • Working with Children Check for paid employment for the state you reside in
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’ certificate. If you have not already completed the free module,click here to access it.
