Job summary

Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia) in Adelaide is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a permanent part-time role 2 or 3 days per week. You will manage your own caseload across home, school, and community settings, delivering supports to Autistic people of all ages.

Join a strong clinical team, be supported by supervision, and tailor interventions to each individual, helping build practical skills, independence and confidence.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Full AHPRA registration.
  • Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Working With Children Check (state-based).
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You.
  • Current RRHAN-EC certification (South Australia) or willingness to obtain.
  • International police check (if required).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver therapy supports to 3-4 participants per day in community settings.
  • Develop practical, goal-focused intervention plans.
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, and support networks.
  • Build strategies that are strengths-based, functional, and meaningful.
  • Support participants to develop independence and everyday life skills.
  • Work both autonomously in the community and as part of a highly supportive team.

Employment: Permanent, part-time, 2 or 3 days per week

We’re looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our Adelaide team and make a genuine impact in the lives of Autistic children, young people and adults.

This is a varied, community-based role where no two days look the same. You’ll manage your own caseload while being supported by a strong, collaborative clinical team.

You’ll work directly with participants in their everyday environments—home, school, or community—helping them build practical skills, independence, and confidence in line with their goals.
