Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Home Care team in the Port Macquarie region. You will deliver evidence-based assessments and interventions to support independent living at home for older Australians.

The role offers flexible work-from-home options, a supportive multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to Well-Living approaches. Applicants must hold an OT degree with AHPRA registration and may work PT or FT.

About the role

BaptistCare is one of Australia's largest home care providers and a leader in service quality and innovation. We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist PT or FT, to join our growing team in the Port Macquarieand surrounding areas.

You will deliver evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care. Your work will help older people maintain or regain independence, mobility, and confidence to remain living at home.

About you

• Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration
• Demonstrated abilityto assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients in the community
• Post graduate experience working with in a variety of aged care services, including rehabilitation and community settings
• Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models
• Confident working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated computer literacy

• Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain
• Unrestricted driver’s licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage car insurance.
