We're looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our established multidisciplinary team in Penrith, working across a flexible mix of clinic, community and home-based therapy throughout Western Sydney, Nepean, Hawkesbury and the Blue Mountains.
You'll work across the lifespan with a varied caseload shaped around participant needs and your clinical interests, with opportunities across Functional Capacity Assessments, assistive technology, sensory and mobility assessments, falls prevention, and fine and gross motor development.
Whether you're a new graduate, early career or experienced OT, there's scope to shape the role around your experience and where you'd like to develop.
One of the best parts of this role is the team around you.
Our Penrith team brings together OTs, Speech Pathologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, Psychology and Physiotherapy, with genuine opportunities to work collaboratively across disciplines.
The team describes itself as supportive, collaborative and purpose-driven, with plenty of humour along the way. There are fortnightly team meetings, regular lunches and activities, discipline-specific Communities of Practice, and many team members have been with us for three years or longer.
At Avina, you can have the variety and flexibility of community OT without working in isolation. You'll have a local Penrith base, an established MDT around you and plenty of opportunity to keep learning and developing.
Whether you're starting your OT career or looking for your next step, we'd love to hear from you.
