Job summary

Avina is a national allied health and behaviour support organisation delivering Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Dietetics and Positive Behaviour Support across Australia. We are hiring Occupational Therapists to support NDIS participants in home, school, clinic and community environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy earned from an accredited program.
  • Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility) to practice in Australia.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle for community work
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A collaborative and person-centred approach to therapy

Responsibilities

  • Deliver functional and person-centred Occupational Therapy services across home, school, clinic and community settings.
  • Complete assessments, intervention planning and ongoing therapy.
  • Support participants to achieve meaningful goals and increase independence.
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, educators and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Manage a varied caseload across community, clinic and telehealth settings.
  • Participate in supervision, peer collaboration and ongoing professional development opportunities

About The Role

We are currently seeking Occupational Therapists across multiple locations nationally to join our growing multidisciplinary team.

This role offers the opportunity to deliver strengths-based, evidence-informed therapy supporting NDIS participants across home, school, clinic and community environments.
