Job summary

Scope is seeking a Grade 3 Occupational Therapist for a Parental Leave capacity in Geelong. You will provide therapy services tailored to client needs, focusing on strengths and lasting solutions, while collaborating with families and care teams to support wellbeing and participation in various environments.

• Active registration with AHPRA or a peak professional body.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children’s Check.
• Australian working rights and an international Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than 1 year in the last 10 years.

About Scope

About the role

This will be a grade 3 OT role in a Parental Leave capacity, you will :

• Provide therapy service to clients on a needs bases whilst building on their strengths and developing suitable long-term solutions


• Deliver goal directed therapy services to younger and older adults. Services will be provided collaboratively with significant others to support a person’s wellbeing, function and community participation in a range of environments.


• Support clients across a variety of clinical settings to develop and review individual therapy and support plans, ensuring goals are meaningful, meet the needs of the individual and reflect their personal goals


• Provide informative and current information to clients around valuable services to maximize their ability to make informed choices

About you

• You are an experienced clinician and have relevant experience in disability services


• You are committed to human-centred approaches, strength-based practices, and supporting inclusion and participation


• You have excellent communication skills and are a team player

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must provide the following:

• Current Driver’s License and your own vehicle
