Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Home Care team across the Mid-North Coast/Forster region. You will assess clients under aged care funding programs and deliver restorative, reablement-focused interventions to support independence at home.

The role offers flexible work-from-home options and a supportive multidisciplinary team. AHPRA registration and a current OT degree are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration.
• Demonstrated ability to assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients in the community.
• Post graduate experience working in aged care services including rehabilitation and community settings.
• Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models.
• Confident working independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated computer literacy.
• Alignment with BaptistCare’s values and mission.
• Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Unrestricted driver’s licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage insurance.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist PT or FT, to join our growing team in the Mid-North Coast/Forster/Taree and surrounding areas. You will deliver evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care. Your work will help older people maintain or regain independence, mobility, and confidence to remain living at home.
